Holy Toledo...

I haven't posted in forever... Well shame on me, cause I don't even have a good excuse sadly... Lauren's probably gonna sic rabid chiuahua's on my butt. Anyway, hmm... A quick summary of life so far. Well, I randomly dressed up as a pirate for Halloween, I went to see Twilight twice, and ate lots of turkey on turkey day(deal with it vegetarians!). Um...Yeah, that's about as exciting as my life gets. Oh and last Tuesday which was Dec. 9th, I went to Body Worlds with my medical anatomy class for the second time which was just as awesome. Plus we headed over to the University Hospital and toured the Burn Center and Airmed, woot woot! Um...I like to feel really smart naming off body parts, what can I say? Oh and then last Thursday, Dec. 11th, we got to look at real human brains... Let's say they're the consistancy of mashed potatoes... Not that we got to squish them, they just felt like that. Unfortunately, for the rest of the day, despite the latex gloves my hands smelled like the ethanol solution they were in! Ewww... Which makes me wonder, if that stuff was only 10% ethanol and the rest 90% distilled water and those brains have lasted for quite a while, why would you drink? It doesn't seem too smart to me.... Blah...it snowed... Not that I don't like winter and stuff, I just don't like cold. Plus me and ice don't get along...at all. I always slip and it's embarrassing and yeah, I don't like it! But at least this Friday is the last day before Christmas Break! Yay! It's so happyful and then Saturday is the Christmas dance, but like I care about that! Matt, a cute boy I have a wavering crush on, is such a creeper... I basically told him to his face I liked him and wanted him to ask me to the dance, but nooooooo... The idiot asked some chick in band who plays clarinet. The girl he asked to Homecoming, also my buddy but still, was a clarinet, and then the girl who took him to Sadie Hawkins before I could is at least in the band, and now ANOTHER CLARINET!!! Do you see a pattern? Grr...boys are dumb...I have a feeling that I'm going to realize this fact at every dance...sigh... Okay Annaka, you can laugh at me for still liking him now. I won't stop you...

Somebody's Birthday!

So, today is Annaka's birthday! Eeek! I know, she's seventeen and making me feel small and insignifigant again...jk I love her! So anyone who sees her better say happy birthday or so help me I will hurt you! She's like my bestest buddy so you mess with her you mess with me, deal with that fact or go away. Don't like it? I don't like you. Once again Annaka, you are an awesome friend and I LOVE YOU! More than muffins and as Lauren knows with my wierd obsession with muffins that's a lot! Lol! Thanks for always sticking by me! Hope you have an awesome birthday buddy!
A random birthday song!
There is sadness in the air,
People dying everywhere,
But happy birthday! Happy birthday!
One step closer to the grave,
Think of all the food you'll save,
But happy birthday! Happy Birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNAKA!

Wyoming and the Joyous Word "Yes!"

First of all, I'm choosing to ignore Dennis's previous quote although there are a million and one amazing comebacks I could shoot off. I will maintain my dignity and not get involved. And whatever you're thinking Annaka, don't say yeah right! Second thing, I have to correct myself. I have told people on numerous occasions that "Cute boys are an extinct species in Wyoming" end quote. Over the weekend, on my grandma's and my trip, I have discovered that I was wrong. Scientists, including myself, have recently made a breakthrough and discovered that cute guys are not extinct, they are just endangered in Wyoming! I had no idea until, we were in Pinedale mind you, I saw a drool inducing cutie at their local general store. Now on my hottness scale I would easily give this guy a 9.5. I would say ten, but I'm trying to be objective, now you can say yeah right Annaka. Anyway, the trip to Wyoming was an interesting experience. I helped my grandma tend my Aunt Stacy's three kids and was very tempted to steal one of their bunnies... I never realized just how cute them dang bunnies are... They're very fuzzy and soft and...okay moving on. Anyway, I was nearly sick this morning from all the junk food I ingested and hopefully that will go away... Anyway, I take back everything upset I said pertaining to Boo! He said YES!! *girly giggle* Sorry, I get excited. So now I have to go thank him tomorrow with Andrew as my wingman. Heh, for anyone who's seen Topgun, he reminds me of Iceman...fitting description... Anyway more info later on! Ciao! BTW, I'm trying to learn Italian so whenever the Mexicans think they're cool and talk in Spanish so I can't understand I can just grin and just jabbering away in Italian...I'll probably get called racist, but whatever!

Hey u are the same way!

I am gonna say this, men can be stupid. Its just the 20% of men that get remembered for there idiotic actions. I know this, but women are the same way. They do the same things, just not in the way that men do. Like my good friend Andrew says "Men fight with there fists, women fight with words." End quote. Some women u can give them flowers and give them everything they disire but reject u, and when u avoid women they just wont leave u alone. We as men have done our idiotic actions, but we are not the only ones. Just defending my side of the war of words.

The Species Currently Known as, "Men, Boys, or other words I can't repeat."

So I have come to a genius realization, one that never ceases to anger me and yet I always seem to forget. Fact of Life: Men are stupid. I'm sorry, but they are(except for a select few and if you find one, you are amazingly lucky). So anyway, they are an interesting species, one that I'm not entirely convinced is even closely related to us girls. I mean really... They call us emotional and we are, but at least we're not thick... I swear some guys you can flirt with til you can't breathe anymore and they still don't get the picture... Others you can't scream at them you don't like them, but they keep coming back... It's like they like violence...which as my buddy Lauren observed, "I just can't see why they always have to be punching each other." End quote. Anyway, my ranting is done...mostly...

Homecoming!!

Speaking of homecoming, i asked out a girl. Her name was Robin Hanson, and she is very cute. To my shock and horror, someone beat me to the draw and got her before i did. Lucky, lol. Anyway i am now trying to figure out who to ask!!!! (fingers crossed for me to!)

Whoa!

Do I dare believe my eyes? I think I just might have to...but holy heck in a handbag, Dennis posted! I'm so proud of him...*tears up* Anyway, my apologies in not posting for a ginormous amount of time. School gets to me, what can I say? I've been dead tired and spaced out, so it's been crazy. Anyway, guess what's coming up?! HOMECOMING!! I can go this year, and do I want to yes! I know the guy and everything, but I wonder if that's weird a girl asking a guy...hmmm... All my buds say no, but I don't know. Maybe it's just the old fashioned romantic in me that believes in the guy asking the girl and blah blah blah... Meh, I don't know... In other news, I think Andrew has fallen for Jen, hard and fast. Well maybe that will solve my problem of girls always walking up to me and saying my cousin is hot. I've become numb to it. Now I just look at them and say join the club. Oh and I've discovered that Annaka and I have developed some kinda of crazy psychic connection... It's weird... As Andrew says, we don't need Annaka around, we'll just have Kenzie play both parts...scary. Still it's not hard to read her mind...she's not as obscure as she'd like...hahaha! Anyway, hopefully my plan with Boo (his name is actually Trevor but Boo is his nickname, just for future reference) will work out and I'll get to go to Homecoming this year. Fingers crossed eh?

I've Been Tagged!

So my dearest aunt tagged me so I better so this before I forget...
How to play this game of tag: Post these rules on your blog. List: 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about yourself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names.
Joys:
1) My entire family, both extended and immediate! I don't know what I'd do without them! They keep me on the straight and narrow, I know I get my butt kicked multiple times if I ever do anything stupid.
2) My friends! Okay so I know my friends are a bunch of weirdos, but then that's probably why I fit in so well. All of them are extremely loyal and I know they'd stand by me on a whim just like I'd do the same for them if they asked. I love them all!
3) Um...since I don't have any kids or anything(hopefully). I'd have to say my puppy, Remy. She's a minature dachshund and pratically my kid, she's my shadow around the house so it works!
Fears:
1) Okay this sounds dumb, but I hate clowns... There's something about them that freaks me out beyond belief...
2) Earwigs. Now before you ask, I had a bad experience with a huge mutant earwig and my cousin, Andrew. I was traumatized for life and have hated them ever since.
3) Anything happening to my family or friends. I would hate it if any of them got hurt or something and I couldn't help them. I've had horrible dreams about it and I pray none of them come true.
Goals:
1) Well, one of my goals would be to finally get my blackbelt in karate. I'm currently a red belt which is one below brown.
2) Definitely a goal I have would be to go to college and become either a writer or a doctor of some kind.
3) Is it bad that I can't think of a third one?
Current Obsessions/Collections
1) Well, I have to put cute boys here because if I don't Annaka will mock me. Like I told my dad, if guys didn't want girls to look they wouldn't be so cute.
2) Music. I don't think I could live without music. I love finding a perfect song for my mood. It always seems to make me feel better.
3) Ummmmmmmm.....
Random Surprising Facts
1) I love to write and draw. I can be an amazing artist, when I want to be. Plus I love to write. Give me a idea and I'll run with it.
2) I can actually cook edible food. Yes, Annaka it's surprising, but I can. I love to mix random spices and see what flavors come out. My current favorite spice is Basil.
3) I play electric guitar, well kinda. I have learned a whole lot, but it's hard to practice since my guitar so horribly out of tune it's actually painful to listen to.

More Random Rambling

So I've finished Breaking Dawn and it was for lack of a better word, a-mazing. I won't give any spoilers here (I'm not that mean, contrary to popular belief) but I will say it was an awesome end to an awesome series. Now that I'm done, I'm lost as to what to do... I waited so long and finished it so fast that it's kinda sad really. If you're anything like me, you're probably wondering what to read while you wait for the movie. Well I made a short list of some good books to try out. No, they don't involve Edward, but they're still really good.
If you like the vampire genre(I know I do):
Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith
Night World Vol. 1 by L.J. Smith
Marked by P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast
Betrayed by P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast
Chosen by P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast
If you swing more towards Jake and his wolfie cohorts:
Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Claus
Wereling: Wounded by Stephen Cole
Wereling: Prey by Stephen Cole
Wereling: Resurrection by Stephen Cole
If you don't care and just need something that'll grab you from page one:
Being by Kevin Brooks
Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson (loved doesn't even cover this one)
Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever by James Patterson
Maximum Ride: Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports by James Patterson
Crank by Ellen Hopkins
Impulse by Ellen Hopkins
Burned by Ellen Hopkins
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Wake by Lisa Mcmann
Those are just a few ideas to give you something to read and love! I've read almost every book up there so I can for sure say you won't be disappointed!

Funny Internet Stuff!

Isn't it weird how much funny and random stuff you can find on the internet especially when you're bored or hyper? Does anyone notice this stuff but me? Honestly? Anyway here are some great, and oh so funny examples -
300 parody - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8TNCRzkvug
Star Wars III- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVLr_MB84uY
Yes, I realize that watching these movies makes me a dork, but I don't care. I still love watching them with my buddies! Who could ask for more?

We're Back!

So we got back from Bear Lake yesterday and man am I tired... Probably didn't help that I stayed up until 4:30 a.m. reading Breaking Dawn...oops. Still it's probably nice being a vampire like Edward, then you'd never have to worry about getting sunburned as badly as I did... Grr...stupid sunscreen. Still it was a good time. We had lots of fun. The waverunners and the tube was probably the highllight even if it killed my arm and shoulder muscles. Still I finally managed to master how to stay on the thing for longer amounts of time. Go me! As an added bonus, I called a cute boy and hopefully got a date! Did I also mention I got a hot guy who was in the condo beneath us to give me his number? He was, in Madi's words, a sexy man beast! Lol! So now I'm just hanging out reading and trying to catch up on sleep. I'm not yet sure how that's going. Anyway, I've got some cool pictures and a video of me totally wiping out on the tube, I just have to get them from my aunt before I can post them. I'm not sure if she got the part where I caught air and skipped/cartwheeled across the lake like a skipping stone. Can anyone say painful? It was worth it though, every second of pain indured. I'll probably give the whole escapade in detail when I post the pictures and video. On a random side note, though, has anyone ever listened to Katy Pery? She sings I kissed A Girl if that helps. I've fallen in love with her music. She's awesome and even if you don't like I Kissed A Girl, try out some of her other songs. Self Inflicted, Hot n Cold, and Broken are some of my favorites.

Fun Words and Vacation Time!

Okay, so an update for the world of the ameoba. This next week, I'll be heading off to Bear Lake probably to sunburn like crazy. I swear I can put sunscreen on fifty gazillion times and I still burn! It's not fair at all. I blame my mum... Anyway as I'm getting off subject, this means I'll be away from a computer swimming and living it up. I promise to take lots of pictures and tell ya all about it later! I'm excited to be riding waverunners and hanging out with some of the best people I know. My family and several friends. Ha, I'll finally get to see my aunt's new baby! Yes, I realize it's sad that she was born at the end of June and I still haven't personally seen her, except in pictures, but they really don't count... I will be stealing another Ameobite, Annaka, so I'm sure she'll post about it too. Anyway, on to my other subject. Has anyone ever noticed how fun and easy it is to make up bizarre words that normally don't make sense? Or to pop off(as my mum would say) with a random word that has no place in a sentence? If you've never tried it, I'm sorry cause it's great fun. Several examples that are fun to say - scrumptious, windex, shazam, exacerbate, and my new favorite FWIP!! Dunno for sure where that came from, but anyway it's pretty sweet. I think it's some kind of sound effect, but not totally sure. Who knows where I get these...Steph probably... She's rubbing off on me! SCARY!! Anyway if anyone has any sweet words, let me know! I love them all! In return you will get a cookie!

Pioneer Day & A Really Tall Bike!

So yesterday was Pioneer Day, complete with parade, fireworks, and a fair. I went with my family and we hung out all day. It was good fun except for the fact that I was dead tired after words. So starting with the parade, which was hilarious, especially with my two cousins together. Wow... There was even some romance thrown into the mix if you believe it. If not that's your problem. Anyway, my cousin Jeff saw the Wendy's hummer with Wendy inside. So he yells out at the top of his lungs, "Wendy! I know you!" She in turn leans out the window brandishing coupons galore! Instead of letting the opportunity go, Jeff runs after her and snatches his prize. Although I wouldn't reccomend falling in love with those fast food chain people. He found out later that she was cheating on him with Ronald McDonald and possibly the King. In spite of being temporarily shattered, we enjoyed the rest of the parade in relative peace and happiness. Haha! Next up, the fair, carnival, or whatever else you call it. We immediately plunged into the fray unfraid of anything. Now I have to say, where else in the world can you get slightly questionable food that you have no idea what's in it for ridiculously high prices that you pay for anyway? The joys of carnival food, we all had something like Navajo Tacos, Gyros, Pizza, etc. Once fed and happy again we wandered amongst the booths searching out interesting things. We discovered an Asian booth and my cousin Ashlee was in total bliss. She bought a hugemungous fan decorated with dragons and a white marble statue of a dragon vs. a pheonix. It was pretty sweet. We continued wandering and checked out some sweet henna tattoos, but ran out of time and fundage for one. Which was okay in the long run. I didn't mind though. As we decided to head off to the car, Andrew, Jeff and Dennis(he show'd up halfway through the day) started talking to a guy on a really tall bike. The guy was extremely nice and as Andrew was talking to him, he was invited to try out the giant bike. After several botched attempts to even get on the bike and a demonstration from the biker, he managed to hoist himself onto the bike with relative ease. Getting down seemed easier to me, so I didn't try. Andrew did pretty good up so high. I think he wants one now, it wouldn't surprise me.
Jeff triumphantly claims his woman
and some sweet coupons!
Andrew riding the tall man's bike.

He's doing pretty dang good I'd say.

Now You're Swingin'!

From Left - Annaka, Me, Andrew, Ashley, Dennis, Cami
(About to go check out the dance floor. Aren't we cute?
On second thought keep your opinion, we don't care!)

From Left - Cami, Me, Morgan, Annaka, Ashley

(Lol, don't ask about Morgan's pose! Haha) From Left - Annaka & Cami (getting tired of pictures probably,

I didn't even take that many geez what babies!) So Andrew, Annaka, Ashley, Cami, Dennis, Morgan, and I(a small section of the hugemungous ameoba) just went country dancing... No freaking lie. It was interesting, but probably would've been better had I known how to country dance... I don't. I'm more of a Ballroom Dancing kinda girl. Line dances just confuse me so if anyone has any tips, lemme know. Anyway there was lots of country music, bright flashing lights, cute guys, and oh! Did I mention I got flashed? JK! My best friend was wearing a pretty dress and the top came down over a red tanktop. Surprised was I!! Haha! Plus did I mention that some boys are such pansies? They wander aimlessly around the dance floor trying to build up the courage to ask a girl and then bam! The moment they find one, they slink away all scared and nobody wins. I mean honestly, does anyone else see a problem with that?! So basically if you're a dude, please don't chicken out. Girls won't hate you if you actually ask us...I promise. And if they do, you can't sue me so there! Deal with it. Besides you won't win any hearts hiding in a corner praying for God to send you a girl. Trust me. I've been around plenty of guys to know. Okay, enough advice, this isn't Dr. Phil! Although people tell me I could be a therapist/marriage counselor...not sure if that was meant as a compliment... Anyway Morgan got daring at the end and got a boy, Ben's, phone number. I really don't know how she intends to use it, but I disgress. No one ever knows with her. I wanted to catch a very complicated line dance in action, but the darn camera died and we were all saddened, some of us less so than others. I didn't even get to catch Morgan's Marilyn Monroe pose in her dress in front of the fan. I promise not to be emotionally shattered and turn emo. Cross my heart and hope to die, besides if I ever did, Annaka'd resurrect me and clone me and proceed to kill all my clones. Then she'd sell the original me into slavery to herself. So you can see why I'd rather not... Anyways all in all it was interesting. I'd better go practice some moves! Check out Dennis & Annaka's and Andrew & Ashley's moves down below! Sorry it's a little dark...

a

Brief Dissection

So you're probably wondering what the heck the Ameoba is. Well I'll tell ya. The Ameoba is a group of friends that when together act exactly the same as when they're split into smaller groups. Andrew claims he's the brain, but I just laugh hyterically. As Lauren would say, hucking falarious, just hucking falarious...
